Course Description
The Bahamas Junior Certificate (BJC) preparation course is designed for students in Grades 7–9 to build the academic knowledge, critical thinking skills, and exam strategies required to successfully pass the national BJC Social Studies examination. The course follows the curriculum guidelines of the Bahamas Ministry of Education and prepares students to sit the BJC exam at the end of Grade 9.
Students receive structured instruction while developing problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and effective study habits. The program emphasizes continuous assessment, exam practice, and mastery of key concepts across the three years of junior high school.

This is a self-paced course for students to review notes and questions at their availability.
MATERIALS: All materials will be provided for students throughout the course.
TECHNOLOGY: Participants will need access to internet and a desktop computer, laptop, or tablet to participate in this course.
Student Outcome
By the end of the course, students will be confident in applying knowledge, interpreting exam questions, and demonstrating the competencies required to achieve passing BJC results.
